Shinichi Sakamoto’s original and remastered soundtrack releasing on picture discs.

The soundtrack to Artdink’s upcoming action-adventure platformer Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World will be released on vinyl.

The game is a remake of Monster World IV which was developed by Westone Bit Entertainment and released back in 1994. Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World is developed by the original members of the Westone Bit Entertainment development team.

The Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World soundtrack, scored by Wonder Boy/Monster World series composer Shinichi Sakamoto (Aurail, Psychic 5, and Clockwork Aquario), will be pressed on two picture discs: the first one contains the game’s original soundtrack while the second contains the remastered soundtrack. The vinyl discs come in a clear sleeve.

Only 499 copies of this double-vinyl album are available exclusively from the Strictly Limited Games online store with shipping expected in May.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World will be released digitally and physically in Europe, North America, and Australia on 28th May for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The game will also be released for Windows via Steam on 29th June.

Retail copies of the game will include the original Monster World IV.
