A physical release is coming soon.
Music label Black Screen Records has released the soundtrack to third-person psychological-horror game The Medium across major digital platforms.
The Medium is developed by Bloober Team and is set within two realms – the real world and the spirit world. Players take on the role of a medium as they utilise their psychic abilities to solves puzzles and uncover dark secrets while encountering a mysterious entity called The Maw.
The art style in The Medium is inspired by Polish surrealist painter Zdzisław Beksiński.
The game’s soundtrack, co-composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski (Blair Witch and Layers of Fear 2) and Akira Yamaoka (the Silent Hill series), comprises 27 tracks of music and includes vocal tracks by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, Troy Baker, and Liz Katrin.
The music in The Medium is a mixture of rock, electronic, and orchestral sounds; the soundtrack is available now to purchase and stream from platforms including Apple Music, Bandcamp, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, TIDAL, YouTube, and YouTube Music.
Black Screen Records has revealed that a physical release of the game’s soundtrack is coming soon.
The Medium is out today for Xbox Series X|S and Windows.
