The RTS game that’s co-composed by Marty O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori.
Composer and audio director Marty O’Donnell has released the soundtrack to the 1997 real-time strategy game Myth: The Fallen Lords digitally and made it available for purchase and streaming from his Bandcamp.
The soundtrack is co-composed by O’Donnell (Halo: Reach and Destiny) alongside Michael Salvatori (Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Destiny 2: Beyond Light) and comprises 19 tracks of ambient and orchestral music.
Noting that the initial physical release of the soundtrack could now be overpriced – or difficult to find online, for that matter – the award-winning composer has now made it easier for fans to acquire.
“If you don’t have the original CD, don’t pay a bunch for it on Amazon,” he said.
Earlier this month, O’Donnell added the soundtrack to the game’s sequel – Myth II: Soulblighter – to his Bandcamp.
O’Donnell has also revealed on Twitter that the soundtrack to the 2019 virtual reality game Golem will be released digitally on 5th February. Golem is developed by Highwire Games, an independent studio of which O’Donnell is a founder.
Myth: The Fallen Lords is developed by Bungie and released for macOS and Windows.
