2 Mello’s funky hip-hop album gets another pressing.
Following last year’s announcement that Jet Set Radio tribute album Memories of Tokyo-to would be getting a repress on neon green vinyl, music label Ship to Shore PhonoCo. has now made the album available once again, this time on glow-in-the-dark vinyl.
Memories of Tokyo-to – composed by 2 Mello (If Found… and Later Alligator) – comprises 17 funky hip-hop tracks dedicated to the graffiti-themed action series which initially released back in 2000 for Dreamcast and predominantly scored by Hideki Naganuma.
This vinyl re-release comes with a download code for the digital album.
“I think that this album is the most true to myself I have been since I started making music, and I hope that you all enjoy listening to it as much as I have enjoyed making it,” 2 Mello said.
Orders for this glow-in-the-dark repress can be placed on the Ship to Shore PhonoCo online store where copies of the green cassette tape variant are still available.
