The electronica soundtrack to side-scrolling platformer Spinch is getting a release on vinyl via iam8bit.

Spinch is developed by husband-and-wife duo Queen Bee Games and has a very colourful and psychedelic art style thanks to illustrator and cartoon artist Jesse Jacobs.

The game’s soundtrack, composed by visual artist and musician Thesis Sahib, was created using a modified Game Boy and repurposed, circuit-bent toys.

Much like the game’s vibrant art style, the Spinch soundtrack will be pressed on a tricolour vinyl disc and housed in a die-cut ‘Mouth Portal’ jacket. The album features artwork by Jacobs, comes with one out of three limited edition art prints, and a download code for the digital soundtrack.

Pre-orders for the Spinch soundtrack vinyl are available from the iam8bit online store with shipping expected in Q3 2021.

Spinch is published by Akupara Games and available for Nintendo Switch, macOS, and Windows.

In related news, a physical release of Spinch on Nintendo Switch is also available to pre-order exclusively from iam8bit.
