The Haven soundtrack marks the third studio album by Danger.
The electronic soundtrack to action role-playing game Haven is out now and available from major digital platforms.
The music, composed by Danger, launches alongside the game today and comprises 19 tracks; the soundtrack also serves as the French producer’s third studio album.
Haven’s soundtrack is available for purchase from Bandcamp and iTunes; the album can also be streamed from Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube, and YouTube Music.
“Haven is a game that leaves a lot of space for exploring the environment and the relationships between the characters,” Danger explained. “Very early on, I felt that the most important emotion was the idea of a connection that the player has to weave little by little between all the various parts.
“The music for Haven had to express this connection: something that’s built up little by little, that becomes increasingly solid, encompassing, reassuring, bewitching, while never denying its underlying fragility.”
The soundtrack’s lead single “4:42 Still Free” was released back in May with an accompanying music video that features an extended edit of Haven’s opening sequence.
In November, music label G4F Records made pre-orders for the 2xLP and 2-CD soundtrack available from its online store; shipping for both variants are expected in late January 2021.
Haven is developed by The Game Bakers and available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows; the game will also be released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Q1 2021.
