The awards show is set to take place next week.
The Game Awards has announced that singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eddie Vedder will be performing at this year’s awards show.
Vedder has been the frontman for rock band Pearl Jam since 1990. In 2007, he released the soundtrack to the biographical drama Into the Wild which was nominated in the ‘Best Original Score’ category at the Golden Globe Awards 2008; the track “Guaranteed” won the ‘Best Original Song’ award.
The Game Awards 2020 will be taking place at 19:00 ET/16:00 PT on 10th December (00:00 GMT/01:00 CEST on 11th December). There will not be a live audience due to pandemic-related restrictions but will be aired from locations including London, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.

Lorne Balfe (Assassin’s Creed III, Beyond: Two Souls, and Skylanders: Imaginators) will return as music director and as part of the evening’s performances, the Emmy-nominated composer will be conducting the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.
The nominees across 30 different categories include DOOM Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Hades, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and The Last of Us Part II in ‘Best Score and Music’ and DOOM Eternal, Half-Life: Alyx, Ghost of Tsushima, Resident Evil 3, and The Last of Us Part II in ‘Best Audio Design’.
