100 copies available from The Yetee.
Merchandise and production company The Yetee has announced it has an exclusive variant of the Life Force: Salamander soundtrack vinyl which is available to order from its online store.
The soundtrack to the side-scrolling shoot ’em up, composed by the Konami Kukeiha Club, has been pressed on a 12″ ‘Neon Thrust’ yellow vinyl disc. This variant is exclusive to The Yetee with only 100 copies available.
This album does not include the digital soundtrack.
The Life Force: Salamander LP comprises two versions of the game soundtrack: side A contains the Nintendo Entertainment System version whereas side B has the Konami SCC-enhanced MSX version.
The original release from Ship to Shore Phono Co. currently still has copies of the clear vinyl variant available to order.
Debug Records still has copies of its exclusive ‘Salamander Green’ variant as does Black Screen Records with its own exclusive ‘Gold with Purple Split’ colourway.
Life Force: Salamander was developed and published by Konami back in 1986 as a spin-off from the Gradius shoot ’em up series. It was originally released for the arcade machines and then later ported to home consoles.
