Video game music label Debug Records has revealed its exclusive variant of the Life Force: Salamander soundtrack vinyl which is available to pre-order now from its website.

The soundtrack to the 1986 side-scrolling shoot ’em up – a spin-off from the Gradius series, composed by members of the Konami Kukeiha Club, has been pressed on a transparent green vinyl disc with a black smoke effect.

This ‘Salamander Green’ colourway is exclusive to Debug Records with only 125 copies available.

Side A of this release contains the Nintendo Entertainment System version of the soundtrack while side B features the Konami SCC-enhanced MSX version. The album features artwork by graphic designer Tbone & Aljax and liner notes by journalist Anthony John Agnello.

Shipping is expected to start mid April.

The original release of the Life Force: Salamander soundtrack vinyl is still available from Ship to Shore Phono Co. in a couple of variants: orange splatter and clear vinyl.
