The soundtrack to Returnal will be releasing alongside the game.

Music label Milan Records has announced that the soundtrack to upcoming third-person shooter Returnal will be releasing digitally and physically.

Returnal is developed by Finnish studio Housemarque – the developer of side-scrolling shooter Matterfall, and twin-stick shooters Alienation and Nex Machina.

In Returnal, players take on the role of Selene as she crash-lands on an alien planet that’s constantly changing. The game features roguelike gameplay as new loops will present different item combinations for the player to utilise; the procedural nature of Returnal will force players to tackle combat scenarios with different strategies and encourage replayability.

The soundtrack to Returnal, scored by Bobby Krlic, will be released on 30th April alongside the game, which will be launching exclusively on PlayStation 5.

Right now, the lead single “The Crash” is available from digital platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, TIDAL, and YouTube Music.

Milan Records has also revealed that the Returnal soundtrack will be released digitally and on vinyl.
