Music label G4F Records has announced a new addition to road trip adventure game Road 96‘s collaborative soundtrack.

Cocoon will be contributing “The Road” to the adventure game’s soundtrack. The song features acoustic guitars with soft vocals, and marks the first time the French pop project has been involved with a video game soundtrack.

The single is available now from digital platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, and YouTube Music.

G4F has uploaded a live acoustic version of the song to its YouTube channel (embedded below), performed by Cocoon founder Mark Daumail.

This announcement follows on from last December’s reveal that electronic music producer The Toxic Avenger will be contributing “Home Call” to Road 96′s soundtrack.

Road 96 is developed by DigixArt and scheduled to be released in 2021; the game is currently available to add to Steam wishlists.
