Music label Lakeshore Records has shared a live performance of the track “A Strange Kindness” from The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: The Housebuilding EP.

The five-track EP was released earlier this month and comprises “The Housebuilding Song” and four previously unreleased tracks from the 2018 action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2.

This live rendition of “A Strange Kindness” (embedded below) is performed by producer David Ferguson, guitarist Matt Sweeney, and a band of session players including Tim O’Brien on mandolin.

The group’s performance was recorded at The Butcher Shoppe, a recording studio located in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: The Housebuilding EP is available digitally from major digital platforms while copies of the vinyl variant are still in stock from the Rockstar Warehouse (the vinyl is currently sold out at the Lakeshore Records online store).

Red Dead Redemption 2 is developed and published by Rockstar Games for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
