A live performance by David Ferguson, Matt Sweeney, and Tim O’Brien et al.

Lakeshore Records has shared another live rendition of one of the tracks on the recently released The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: The Housebuilding EP.

“A Quiet Time” is one of four previously unreleased tracks on the five-track EP featuring music from the 2018 action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2.

The live rendition (embedded below) features performances by producer David Ferguson, guitarist Matt Sweeney, and mandolin player Tim O’Brien et al.

The group’s performance was captured on video at recording studio The Butcher Shoppe in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sweeney took to Twitter and revealed that not only does he share a birthday with Ferguson, but that developer and publisher Rockstar Games threw them a party which included food and alcohol, but the catch was they had to play some of the music that they composed for the game. As Sweeney put it, they “partied hard”.

Fans can also enjoy a live rendition of “A Strange Kindness” which has also been uploaded to Lakeshore Records’ YouTube channel.

The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: The Housebuilding EP is available to purchase and stream from digital platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube Music. Copies of the EP on vinyl are still available from the Rockstar Warehouse.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is developed and published by Rockstar Games for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
