The final update for the month of February.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 features the music of Finnish metal band Amberian Dawn and Canadian rock band Metric.

The following songs will be available from 25th February:

  • Amberian Dawn – “Dreamchaser”
  • Metric – “Help I’m Alive”

Tracks can be bought individually from the Rock Band Music Store.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

If you’re an avid Rock Band fan, and an avid heavy music fan, you’re probably familiar with Amberian Dawn. “Dreamchaser” dates back to the early days of the band, and an instrumental version first appeared as a Japanese bonus track on their album, River of Tuoni. What you’ll be enjoying in Rock Band this week is the instrumental version. Look no further if you’re interested in complicated guitar riffs, intricate basslines, and a drum track that’ll make you sweat.

We love Metric, and we’re delighted to have “Help I’m Alive” added to the Rock Band Library. “Help I’m Alive” served as the lead single for Metric’s fourth studio album, Fantasies. It introduced fans to what would become their critical and commercial breakthrough album.  In 2010, Fantasies would go on to win a pair of Juno Awards: Alternative Album of the Year and Group of the Year! Pick up Metric’s “Help I’m Alive” this Thursday and sing your hearts out.
