The lead single from Hooray for Boobies and one from Empty Glass.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 features the music of American rock band Bloodhound Gang and British guitarist Pete Townshend (The Who).

The following songs will be available from 11th February:

  • Bloodhound Gang – “The Bad Touch”
  • Pete Townshend – “Let My Love Open the Door”

Tracks can be purchased individually from the Rock Band Music Store.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

Bloodhound Gang catapulted to international success upon the release of their third album, Hooray For Boobies, in 1999. Their lead single from the album, “The Bad Touch”, became a major hit, topping the charts in Europe, and reaching the Top-10 on the Billboard Alternative chart. This innuendo filled jam would become their signature song, propelling Hooray For Boobies to platinum status. We bet you already know the chorus to this one, so sing it loud and proud (…if you’re allowed to, that is. Listen to your parents.)

“Let My Love Open The Door” is the memorable single from Pete Townshend’s 1980 album, Empty Glass. This song strays a bit from Townshend’s usual sound, but offers us an upbeat love song that makes us want to grab the hand of our favorite person and dance. “Let My Love Open The Door” will be a fun track for all Rock Band players, from the recognizable vocals, to the peppy guitar and rhythm section, and more.

The latest DLC trailer (embedded below) should give players a better idea of the songs’ pacing and structure.

Rock Band 4 is developed and published by Harmonix for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
