Pre-orders available now from Laced Records.
The soundtrack to the 2012 first-person shoot-and-loot game Borderlands 2 is releasing on vinyl in a couple of editions, one of which is exclusive to Laced Records.
Pre-orders for the Borderlands 2 4xLP soundtrack box set are available now from the Laced Records online store; shipping is expected in late May.
The quadruple-vinyl album comprises 46 tracks of remastered music – 23 from the base game’s original score along with 23 from the extended soundtrack and downloadable content.
The game’s soundtrack is composed by Jesper Kyd (Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla), Sascha Dikiciyan (The Long Dark and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided), Cris Velasco (Darksiders III and Carrion), and Raison Varner (Red Faction: Guerrilla and Borderlands 3).
The four-person team of composers all collaborated on the soundtrack to 2009’s Borderlands; this time they’re joined by Kevin Riepl (Ascend: Hand of Kul and Aliens: Colonial Marines) and Big Giant Circles (There Came an Echo and Octogeddon).
The standard edition of the Borderlands 2 4xLP soundtrack will be pressed on four 180g black vinyl discs whereas the limited edition will be pressed on four 180g yellow and black ‘Galaxy Effect’ vinyl discs; the limited edition will only be available from Laced Records.
All four discs will be housed in individual sleeves and contained in an outer slipcase.

Laced Records has previously released the soundtrack to Borderlands and Borderlands 3 on vinyl with various editions available from its online store (some releases are currently sold out).
Borderlands 2 is developed by Gearbox Software and available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
