New game set in Amplitude Studios’ Endless universe.
During The Game Awards 2020, an announcement trailer for upcoming rogue-lite, tactical action game Endless Dungeon was shown (embedded below).
Endless Dungeon is developed by Amplitude Studios and is set within the Endless universe of games. This new title is a rogue-lite, tactical action game with twin-stick shooting mechanics; players find themselves shipwrecked on a space station as they employ a team of characters to fend off waves of enemies.
The reveal trailer is a mixture of cut sequences and gameplay footage overlaid with a track by singer-songwriter Lera Lynn with additional synths by Arnaud Roy (also known as FlybyNo). The artist has previously created music for television crime series True Detective and was also cast in a recurring role for the show. Her latest album On My Own was self-released in October.
Endless Dungeon will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows.
More information about the game will be revealed throughout 2021.
