Prequel story performed by Cissy Jones and Yuri Lowenthal.

Spanish developer Out of the Blue Games is set to release its debut title next week with first-person puzzle-adventure game Call of the Sea and ahead of the game’s launch, publisher Raw Fury has shared a live performance of its prequel story.

Call of the Sea is set in the 1930s and centres on Norah – voiced by Cissy Jones (Ghostbusters and Darksiders III) – who goes in search of her missing husband Harry – voiced by Yuri Lowenthal (Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and Spider-Man: Miles Morales).

Players will have to explore a strange island in the South Pacific if they are to discover the secrets behind Harry’s disappearance. Clues left behind by the previous voyage will have to be investigated and puzzles will have to be solved in this story-driven adventure.

The live performance of the game’s prequel story is embedded below and includes Out of the Blue Games co-founder and creative director for Call of the Sea Tatiana Delgado and voice director Julian Kwasneski as they give insights into the game’s narrative and creative process.

Raw Fury has uploaded a gameplay stream that takes a look at the beginning portion of the game onto its YouTube channel.

Call of the Sea will be released on 8th December for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows.
