Field recordings for Halo Infinite’s in-game weaponry.
The development team for upcoming sci-fi shooter Halo Infinite has shared another making-of video which goes behind the scenes and gives fans some insight into the game’s foley recording process.
The latest instalment in the Audio Field Recordings series is a continuation of the audio team’s capturing of foley sound effects with the newest entry focusing on small arms weaponry (embedded below).
Previous videos in the series have taken a look at field recordings for explosions and vehicles.
Halo Infinite is developed by 343 Industries and will be published by Xbox Game Studios for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows.
Studio head Chris Lee made the announcement on the official Halo Twitter account back in August that the game would be delayed until 2021 “to ensure the team has adequate time to deliver a Halo game experience that meets our vision”.
