The limited edition can be pre-ordered for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Action, role-playing game Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is getting a limited edition with pre-orders available now ahead of its release next year.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is developed by Nihon Falcom Corporation and was released last year in Japan for PlayStation 4. A worldwide release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows is scheduled for 2021.

Publisher NIS America will be selling a special edition of the game that comes with a number of additional collector’s items.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox – Limited Edition comes with a copy of the game, ‘Monstrum Memoirs’ mini art booklet, ‘Melodies of the Macabre’ soundtrack sampler (on disc and redeemable via a download code for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, respectively), coversheet, ‘Chains and Chansons’ soundtrack on disc, ‘Nails in the Coffin’ hardcover art book, ‘Ys IX: Monstrum Nox’ short novel, ‘The Crimson King’ Chibi figure, ‘The Monstrums of Balduq’ art card collection, set of ‘Balduq’s Most Wanted’ key rings, and a collector’s ‘Monstrum Box’ to house the limited edition.

Pre-orders are available now on the NIS America European online store for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

The publisher will also be selling a Pact Edition which comes with a copy of the game, the ‘Monstrum Memoirs’ mini art book, ‘Melodies of the Macabre’ soundtrack sampler (once again, the sampler will be on disc for PlayStation 4 and redeemable via a download code for Nintendo Switch), and the coversheet.
