The soundtrack to isometric platformer Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll is getting released on vinyl with pre-orders available now.
The album comprises 33 tracks of music by long-time Rare composer David Wise, who’s scored the soundtracks to such games as Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox Adventures, and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair.
Each side of the vinyl disc contains a variant of the Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll soundtrack – Side A has the Nintendo Entertainment System version while Side B has the SEGA Mega Drive version. Both soundtracks have a runtime of just over 19 minutes each.
The album features artwork by Aimee Cairns.
Pre-orders for this soundtrack vinyl can be placed on the Fangamer website with shipping in late August. This release also comes with a download code for the full digital soundtracks in a choice of formats.
Black Screen Records is also stocking this vinyl as a distributed title; pre-orders are available now from the music label’s online store with shipping in late September.
Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll is developed by Rare and was originally released in 1990 for the NES and then later ported to the Mega Drive.
