Remaster scheduled for a multi-platform release on 8th September.

Publisher THQ Nordic has announced the release date for its upcoming role-playing game Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning.

The remaster is being ported by KAIKO and set for release on 8th September for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. The game was originally developed by Big Huge Games and released back in 2012.

Aside from the improved visuals and inclusion of all previous downloadable content update expansions, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will have a new DLC expansion called Fatesworn set for release in 2021.

There will be three editions of the game that fans can look forward to; the Standard Edition is just the standalone game, while the Fate Edition includes the game and the aforementioned Fatesworn expansion.

The Collector’s Edition comes with the game, a figurine of Alyn Shir (measuring 8.2″ tall, 7.1″ wide, and 5.6″ deep), custom keychain, the soundtrack composed by Grant Kirkhope on CD, five pieces of in-game artwork, and a collector’s box (trailer embedded below).

Pre-orders are available now from the official game website.
