Mondo has just announced that the soundtrack to Konami’s 1998 stealth action-adventure game Metal Gear Solid is getting a ‘Green Smoke’ vinyl pressing.

The soundtrack will come on two 180g green-coloured vinyl discs, or standard black ones if preferred.

Included on the album is the Rika Muranaka original song “The Best is Yet to Come” with artwork by illustrator Randy Ortiz.

The double-vinyl soundtrack will go on sale this Wednesday on the Mondo website and is expected to ship this September.

Last month a blue and orange colour scheme variant was announced, as was the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive ‘Grey Fox’ edition – of which only 1,000 copies are available.
