Are you ready!?

Artix Entertainment has announced that metal band Korn will be playing a free virtual concert next week in two of its free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing games.

As part of the Battle Arena Concert’s grand opening in AdventureQuest 3D and AdventureQuest Worlds, Korn will be appearing on stage while players are busy fighting monsters and picking up loot. Those in attendance will also be treated to a new track from Korn’s upcoming album The Nothing.

This special event starts on 20th August (sunset EST) and can be replayed for the next month. What sets this apart from previous weekly updates is that once this event is over, that’s it.

Players can head to the Travel Crystal and speak with Zea Mays or the special event promoter to get their concert ticket for free. New players will find the ticket already in their inventory.

Optional event packages can also be purchased. These include Korn-themed items, the Heavy Metal Mosh Pit Armor, exclusive travel forms, bonus quests, and more. Players can also buy a backstage pass to get that virtual backstage experience.

Developed and published by Artix Entertainment, AdventureQuest 3D is available through early access for macOS and Windows, as well as for Android and iOS. AdventureQuest 3D also supports cross-platform multiplayer. AdventureQuest Worlds is a Flash-based game that can be played in an Internet browser.
