Merchandising company Mondo has announced that the soundtrack to the 1998 stealth action-adventure game Metal Gear Solid is getting a vinyl pressing.
The soundtrack will come on two 180g vinyl discs in a blue and orange colour scheme with original artwork by illustrator Randy Ortiz. The double album will be released later this summer on the Mondo website as well as select record shops.
This release includes the song “The Best is Yet to Come” by Metal Gear Solid series composer Rika Muranaka.

The Grey Fox Edition of the soundtrack is pressed on two 180g ‘Grey Fox’ coloured vinyl discs and comes in an embossed, foil stamped gatefold jacket. Only 1,000 copies of this limited edition are available.
San Diego Comic-Con runs from 18th-21st July with a Preview Night taking place on the 17th July. (Visit the Comic-Con International website for further details.)
Muranaka will be at the convention on the 19th July (12:00pm) to sign copies of the Metal Gear Solid soundtrack at booth #435.
