Competition starts next month for soundtrack submissions.

The soundtrack to the upcoming instalment in 2K Sports’ long-running basketball game series NBA 2K20 is now live and can be streamed on Spotify.

Distribution service UnitedMasters has also been announced as the official curator of the NBA 2K20 soundtrack. Nine of its artists have already made a contribution to the game’s soundtrack: NLE Choppa, Tobe Nwigwe, Deniro Farrar, Aaron Taos, Jane Holiday, Blessed, Kairo & Sha’Ki, Campfire, and The Siege.

The soundtrack currently comprises 46 tracks, with more music to be added throughout the season.

Other artists that have made it to the NBA 2K20 soundtrack include: Drake, Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Billie Eilish, Diplo, J Balvin, Travis Scott, Calvin Harris, J. Cole, Halsey, Juice Wrld, Zedd, Bad Bunny, Ariana Grande, Mötley Crüe, T-Pain, Meek Mill, Young Thug, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Nipsey Hussle, Sia, Tyga, 21 Savage, Offset, Belly, J.I.D, Travis Barker, Gunna, Fabolous, KRS-One, Rag’n’Bone Man, Labrinth, Benny Blanco, Tainy, EarthGang, IDK, Cousin Stizz, XXXTentacion, Nav, Yungblud, Roddy Ricch, Higher Brothers, Dreezy, Saba, Run the Jewels, Dribble2much, Problem, Smoke DZA, Jay Prince, Rexx Life Raj, Bishop Nehru, Pardison Fontaine, Q Da Fool, Aaron May, Ray Moon, Shane Eli, BJ the Chicago Kid, Calid B, 1K Phew, and Joi.

UnitedMasters is encouraging musicians to submit their tracks for the NBA 2K20 contest where they have an opportunity to get their music in the game. All users have to do is download the UnitedMasters app and use it to submit their music or alternatively they can sign-up at the website. Submissions are open from 1st August.

Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, NBA 2K20 will be released on 6th September for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, and later this year for Stadia.
