Two games from the original campaigns swapped out, targets adjusted.

Label and publishing company VGM Classics has relaunched three Kickstarter campaigns to crowdfund three orchestral albums on CD, featuring music from classic video games.

The original campaigns that were launched in July have been cancelled in light of recent changes to Amazon services that affected distribution plans.

In their place now are three new Kickstarter campaigns with some input from patron suggestions and lowered funding targets, all aiming to raise $15,000 each in an all-or-nothing format. All three end on 20th September.

VGM Classics has invited award-winning composer and conductor Kentaro Sato to oversee the recordings as music director. Aside from his symphonic, film and TV works, Sato also orchestrated the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games, and the Dissidia Final Fantasy instalments.

The Budapest Symphony Orchestra has been chosen as the prospective orchestra for the projects.
