Gattai Games has announced its narrative-driven stealth thriller Stifled will be released on PC, and Mac later today.
Stifled features echolocation-based graphics and is a sound-based game that allows for microphone-enabled gameplay (which can be replaced with key-inputs) with optional virtual reality support for Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.
The main character is David Ridley, someone suffering from heartbreak and is experiencing a deterioration of the mind as a result of it.
Below is a 360-degree panoramic video showing gameplay footage, in which you can see the echolocation used to navigate through the game world.
The game’s optional microphone-input method is also demonstrated in a demo video which you can watch below.
Stifled is already available for the PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR support, and will be released on PC, and Mac at 5pm (PDT) later today.
