A collector’s edition, and a limited silver collector’s edition.
Two special editions of the weapon-based fighting game Soulcalibur VI have been announced ahead of its release later this year.
Developed by Project Soul, Soulcalibur VI is set in the 16th Century as players uncover truths behind the events that took place in the original Soulcalibur. The game will feature characters both familiar and new, for example, series regulars like Sophitia, and Mitsurugi will be making a return, whereas newcomers like the recently announced GrØh, and Geralt of Rivia from CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher series are also in the mix.
The Soulcalibur VI Silver Collector’s Edition includes a copy of the game, season pass (giving access to three characters, a bonus character, and two armour packs), digital soundtrack including the full Soulcalibur VI soundtrack and selected music from the first five games, and a 35cm silver Sophitia figurine. This is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and exclusively from the Bandai Namco store for Windows (Steam).
Europe’s Soulcalibur VI Collector’s Edition will come with a copy of the game, 35cm Sophitia figurine, season pass, digital soundtrack, all packaged in a collector’s edition box. This is available for the PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The collector’s edition in North America, on the other hand, includes the game, a 12″ Sophitia figurine, a Soulcalibur compilation soundtrack on disc, metal case with built-in soundbox, 120-page art book, and a collector’s edition box. This is available for the PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Soulcalibur VI is scheduled for release on 19th October for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
