“Boogie Down.”

Following its release on Nintendo Switch, breakdancing rhythm game Floor Kids is now also available from Steam for Windows and macOS.

As part of a launch week promotion, Floor Kids is currently discounted by 15% and the Floor Kids Soundtrack Edition bundle (base game and original soundtrack) is discounted by another 15% on top of that. Promotion ends 23rd May.

Produced by turntablist musician Kid Koala, the game’s soundtrack is a mix of funky breaks and hip-hop beats. “Robo Tronix” with its electro style is reminiscent of “Planet Rock” by Afrika Bambaataa & the Soulsonic Force, while tracks like “Five Spot Stomp,” “Smock Jams” and other funky hip-hop tracks set the overall tone of the album.

Floor Kids Original Video Game Soundtrack is now available from Steam, as well as Google Play, iTunes/Apple Music, and Spotify.

The soundtrack is also available on 2×12″ vinyl from the official Floor Kids Store.

In celebration of the game’s launch on Steam, Kid Koala took to Twitter and shared a video of him demonstrating one of his favourite moves to rack up points.
