Sounds of the dungeon crawler.

The official soundtrack to dungeon crawler role-playing game Wizard of Legend is available now.

An instrumental album of 14 tracks, Wizard of Legend Original Soundtrack is a mix of orchestral arrangements and electronic synth sounds.

Composed by Dale North, the Wizard of Legend Original Soundtrack is out now on iTunes/Apple Music, Bandcamp, and Spotify.

North spoke about how Wizard of Legend’s gameplay took him back to his favourite gaming era and what his approach was in scoring Contingent99‘s RPG:

“Wizard of Legend’s fast play style and design calls back to my favorite era of gaming, which was during the Sega Saturn’s heyday… I channeled my love of the sound of those games by building a soundscape based around my collection of synthesizers from the 1990s and recording them the old way: manually analog, and layer by layer. And then in line with Wizard of Legend’s dazzling spells and chain attacks, I wrote high-tempo, soaring orchestral backings to support the synthesizers, aiming for a blend that would be both exciting and memorable.”

Contingent99 is a two-person development team made up of high school friends Bundy Kim and Dahoon Lee.

The studio’s debut game Wizard of Legend is available now on Steam, Nintendo Switch PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
