Music label G4F Records and developer DigixArt have revealed another track that will be featured on the soundtrack to upcoming road trip, procedural adventure game Road 96.
“Revolution 96” is an atmospheric, electronic track by sound designer and composer Alexis Laugier (As Far As The Eye). The track is available now from digital platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, TIDAL, and YouTube Music.
G4F Records has uploaded a visualiser for the single onto its YouTube channel (embedded below) which features looped game footage.
Road 96 is a story-driven, procedural adventure game in which players encounter unusual characters and events as they embark on their road trip. The game is developed by the studio behind the musical runner Lost in Harmony and narrative-driven adventure game 11-11: Memories Retold.
The soundtrack to Road 96 will feature music by eight different artists; so far, the international collaborators that have been revealed include The Toxic Avenger, Cocoon, S U R V I V E, Robert Parker, and now Alexis Laugier.
If you’ve missed the music tracks that have been announced to date, they are available from digital platforms as well as G4F Records’ YouTube channel. These tracks include “The Road” by Cocoon, “Home Call” by The Toxic Avenger, “On the Road” by Robert Parker, and “Redline” by S U R V I V E.
Road 96 is scheduled for release this summer on Nintendo Switch, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
