Kicking off 2021.

The downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 this week features the music of pop-punk band Blink-182 and alternative rock band Lifehouse.

The following songs will be available from 7th January:

  • Blink-182 – “Anthem Part 2”
  • Lifehouse – “Hanging by a Moment”

Tracks can be bought individually from the Rock Band Music Store.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

“Anthem Part 2” by blink-182 comes in strong, kicking off their fourth album, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket. It serves as a sequel to “Anthem” from their previous 1999 record, Enema Of The State. “Anthem Part 2” has stick-it-to-the-man themes that are very much loved by fans and expected from blink-182. The band had reached monumental success with their previous album and continues to ride that wave and is widely regarded as the most influential pop-punk act of the era. Fans from the past and present alike are going to have a blast regardless of instrument, from Tom DeLonge’s iconic voice to bouncy drumbeats.

Lifehouse’s “Hanging By A Moment” is definitely a song you’d remember from the radio in the early 2000s. This hit song released as the first track from Lifehouse’s debut album, No Name Face. “Hanging By A Moment” peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the most played radio track of the year in the United States. Belt out the lyrics or rock along with the recognizable bassline this Thursday.
