The Grindstone soundtrack is composed by Sam Webster.

During the latest Indie World showcase broadcast earlier today, the digital launch of puzzle game Grindstone was announced for Nintendo Switch.

Coinciding with the launch announcement, production company iam8bit has revealed that it will be selling an exclusive physical release of Grindstone as well as the game’s soundtrack on vinyl with pre-orders available now from its online store.

The soundtrack, composed by Sam Webster (Skies of Chaos and Reigns: Beyond), is pressed on two ‘Jorji Blue & Creep Blood Splatter’ vinyl discs.

This 2xLP release comprises 34 tracks of electronic and chillhop beats; the album features artwork by illustrator Nuri Durr and comes with a fold-out colouring poster.

The Grindstone double-vinyl soundtrack can be pre-ordered from iam8bit with shipping expected in Q2 2021.

The game’s digital soundtrack is already available and is split into two volumes; both volumes can be purchased and streamed from major digital platforms.

Grindstone was shortlisted in the ‘Portable Game of the Year’ category at the 23rd Annual D.I.C.E. Awards; the game is developed by Capybara Games and available for iOS devices via Apple Arcade and Nintendo Switch.
