As part of iam8bit’s Black Friday line-up of products, pre-orders for the Rez Infinite: Area X soundtrack vinyl are available now.
Musical on-rails shooter Rez originally came out in 2001 for Dreamcast and PlayStation 2; a high-definition port was subsequently released in 2008 for Xbox 360.
An expanded version of the game with optional virtual reality support, titled Rez Infinite, launched in 2016 and 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Windows, respectively. More recently, the game has also been made available for Android and various VR headsets.
Rez Infinite features classic Rez levels that have been remastered as well as a new level called Area X.
The Rez Infinite: Area X soundtrack vinyl comprises all 12 tracks composed by Hydelic which includes five that were previously unreleased; the album is housed in a die-cut jacket featuring artwork designed by Cory Schmitz. This vinyl release also comes with a digital download of the album.
Pre-orders for the soundtrack vinyl are available now from the iam8bit online store with shipping expected in Q2 2021.

Rez Infinite is developed by Monstars Inc. and Resonair, and published by Enhance for PlayStation 4, Windows, HTC Vive, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, Valve Index, and Android.
