Music label Ship to Shore PhonoCo. has announced that it will be releasing the soundtracks to the 2013 action-platformer Guacamelee! and its 2018 sequel Guacamelee! 2 on vinyl.

Ship to Shore PhonoCo. made the announcement via social media, tweeting: “GUACAMELEE 1 + 2 original soundtracks on vinyl! MONDAY 11/2 at 12pm EST”.

The soundtrack to Guacamelee! is composed by Rom Di Prisco (Unreal Tournament 3 and Rune) and Peter Chapman (Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack), and consists of Mexican-inspired trumpet and guitar riffs layered with electronic beats.

The music in Guacamelee! 2 is similar to the soundtrack of its predecessor and is once again composed by Di Prisco and Chapman along with music group Mariachi Entertainment System.

Both vinyl releases feature album artwork by DrinkBox Studios concept lead Augusto Quijano.

Pre-orders for both soundtracks will be available from 12:00 EST (17:00 GMT) on 2nd November from the Ship to Shore PhonoCo. online store.
