A box set for the Art of Fighting trilogy of soundtracks is in the works.

The soundtrack to the 1996 fighting game Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior is getting a physical release through a collaboration between SNK Corporation, Brave Wave Productions, and Limited Run Games.

All 25 tracks of music from the game, composed by the SNK Sound Team, will be released on two physical formats as a CD and double-vinyl album.

The 2xLP variant is pressed on two 150g vinyl discs and comes with a colour booklet containing archival artwork and liner notes by the game’s pixel artist Nobuyuki Kuroki. This vinyl release includes a download code for the digital soundtrack.

The double-vinyl release will be available in a couple of editions: a standard edition and the signed edition – the latter is a limited edition and comes with a poster signed by Kuroki.

The soundtrack to Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior will also be released on CD. Both the CD and vinyl editions are scheduled for release in early 2021.

For the collectors, a standalone Art of Fighting anthology box set will also be released; this is a top-lid outer box designed to house the trilogy of Art of Fighting soundtrack vinyl releases.

The Art of Fighting and Art of Fighting 2 vinyl soundtracks, originally released in 2017 and 2018, respectively, will both be repressed in limited numbers and available for purchase alongside the Art of Fighting 3 soundtrack next year.

Pre-order dates will be announced at a later date, as will the European prices via music label and independent retailer Bigwax.
