Rhythm game gets updated with some rock and country.
This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 consists of two tracks: one by English rock band Band of Skulls and the other by American country singer-songwriter Gabby Barrett.
The following tracks will be available from 24th September:
- Band of Skulls – “I Know What I Am”
- Gabby Barrett – “I Hope”
Songs can be purchased individually. “I Know What I Am” was previously available from the Rock Band Network.
The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:
Band of Skulls’ “I Know What I Am” was the first single from the English band’s debut album, Baby Darling Doll Face Honey. This track blends genres with a vintage, gritty sound. Guitarists can show off their skills on the short, but intricate, ripping solo. Let’s not forget the back and forth vocals between Russell Marsden and Emma Richardson, perfect for the beginning of your set list.
Gabby Barrett’s career skyrocketed into success as she competed in ABC’s singing competition show, American Idol. She finished 3rd on Season 16 of the show and followed up by releasing “I Hope” her powerful debut single. “I Hope” led her to signing a record deal and landed in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Since its release in July 2019, “I Hope” has been certified 2x Platinum. The song became an anthem for the brokenhearted, speaking a revengeful tale of an ex-partner. For the folks who are excited to belt out some songs at the top of their lungs, this one’s for you.
