Pre-orders available now from Laced Records.

Laced Records is continuing the release of soundtracks from the Resident Evil survival-horror series with the latest instalment following a quick tease on Twitter.

Following the release of Resident Evil 4′s soundtrack earlier in the year, the soundtrack to Resident Evil 5 is now getting a triple-vinyl release in a couple of variants.

Resident Evil 5 is composed by Kota Suzuki who went on to compose the sequel in Resident Evil 6 as well as the Resident Evil: Revelations side series and the recent 2020 remake of Resident Evil 3.

Suzuki led a team of composers at Capcom Sound Team to score the music for Resident Evil 5, including Hideki Okugawa, Akihiko Narita, Seiko Kobuchi, and Wataru Hokoyama.

The Hollywood Studio Symphony orchestra performed live orchestral recordings for the soundtrack and the theme song “Pray” features the vocals of Senegalese singer Oulimata Niang.

The soundtrack is pressed on three 180g vinyl discs and comprises 50 tracks of remastered music. The album features artwork by illustrator and graphic designer Boris Moncel of Blackmane Design.

Pre-orders for the standard black and limited-edition red gold variant are available now from the Laced Records website; shipping for both editions are expected this December.

(This release is only available in North America and EMEA regions.)
