Publisher of limited, physical releases Super Rare Games has partnered with developer Long Hat House for a collector’s edition of metroidvania platformer Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition.

Dandara was originally released in 2018 and got updated in 2020 with the Trials of Fear content update for free. Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition added several new features including three new areas, a new boss, new powers for Dandara, new ability, new music, and a secret ending.

New story-related updates included in-game descriptions, dialogues, and cutscenes for pre-existing and new characters and environments. The game’s composer, Thommaz Kauffmann, also added 16 tracks of new music “to enhance the new area”.
