Two humorous tracks from the Rock Band Network make their return.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 features a couple of tracks that were previously available from the Rock Band Network.

For this Thursday’s update, the rhythm game’s song library will see the addition of a track by comedy, singer-songwriter Jonathan Coulton and another by comedy rock band Psychostick.

The following tracks will be available from 30th July:

  • Jonathan Coulton – “Ikea”
  • Psychostick – “This is Not a Song, It’s a Sandwich”

Tracks can be bought individually.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

Jonathan Coulton is a comedy singer-songwriter from New York. With an extensive discography, he’s best known for songs about internet/nerdy culture and has even had songs featured in video games. “Ikea” is a hilarious song about, well, exactly what you think it’s about. Everyone’s favorite place to buy furniture, housewares, and Swedish meatballs. “Ikea” was originally released on Coulton’s debut album Smoking Monkey. If you need a good laugh and a fun song to dance along to while you play, “Ikea” by Jonathan Coulton has you covered and it’s exciting for the whole band.

Psychostick’s “This is Not a Song, It’s a Sandwich!” is back for Rock Band 4. Psychostick is a band from Arizona that leans on the comedic side of things. This song was the first single off of their second studio album, Sandwich. Many of the songs on Sandwich are food themed. “This is Not a Song, It’s a Sandwich!” will be fun and challenging for guitarists and bassists alike. Feel free to turn this one up loud, headbang, and let out some laughs while having fun.
