The release of a new Final Fantasy VII compilation album has been announced.
Distant Worlds & A New World Collections: Music from Final Fantasy VII comprises 10 selected renditions of Final Fantasy character and battle themes taken from the Distant Worlds and A New World concert series.
The music of Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu has been arranged by Shiro Hamaguchi, Yohei Kobayashi, Hiroyuki Nakayama, Eric Roth, and album music director and conductor Arnie Roth.
The album also features performances by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Distant Worlds Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, the Elmhurst College Concert Choir, pianist Benyamin Nuss, and the Allmänna Sången choir.
This new compilation album is available now to purchase from Bandcamp and can also be streamed from Amazon Music and Spotify.
The Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy concert currently has a show scheduled for Orlando, Florida on 17th October at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The fifth instalment of the concert series was released digitally last June.
A New World: Intimate Music from Final Fantasy currently has several tour dates scheduled from September 2020 through June 2021 across the United States and Germany. The second volume of the live arrangement album series was released last May.
