DLC includes a cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now” by Tiffany.
For this week’s Rock Band 4 downloadable content update, the rhythm game’s library is being updated with a couple of songs by singer-songwriter and Green Day lead vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong and pop band Saint Motel.
The following tracks will be available from 18th June:
- Billie Joe Armstrong – “I Think We’re Alone Now”
- Saint Motel – “Van Horn”
Tracks can be bought individually.
The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:
Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, a Rock Band fan favorite, covered “I Think We’re Alone Now” by Tommy James and The Shondells as part of an at-home quarantine cover series. Many artists, Billie Joe Armstrong included, are trying to bridge the gap and bring us all closer with their art, a shining light and comfort in this trying time. Armstrong even teamed up with his sons, Joey and Jakob, to perform this awesome cover for a socially distanced recording of a late night television show. The cover features the lovable Green Day-esque style, which blends perfectly with the feel of the original. Hit up your friends for a virtual Rock Band night this week and consider picking up this kicka** cover.
Saint Motel is a band from Los Angeles that knows how to make some groovy tunes. Coming to the Music Store this week is their song “Van Horn”, which appears on their newest EP, The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack: Part 1. Saint Motel plans to release 2 more EPs that will make up the track list of their upcoming, full length studio album. Saint Motel’s “Van Horn” will be a blast for any and all Rock Band players, guaranteed.
