Norio Hanzawa’s soundtrack to the run and gun game gets a vinyl release.

Music label Data Discs is opening pre-orders for the Alien Soldier double-vinyl soundtrack on its online store.

Alien Soldier is a side-scrolling run and gun game developed by Treasure that was originally released back in 1995 for the SEGA Mega Drive. The electronic soundtrack is composed by Norio Hanzawa, who also composed the music in the 2D side-scrolling beat ’em up Guardian Heroes, side-scrolling platformer Mischief Makers, and 3D platformer Wario World.

As with the Alien Storm soundtrack vinyl, the soundtrack to Alien Soldier has been pressed on vinyl and available in three variants: ‘Classic Black’, ‘Opaque Grey’, and the ‘Blue, Frosted Clear, and Grey Tri-Colour and Splatter’ limited edition.
