Mondo has announced that the soundtrack to action-platformer Skelattack is getting released as a double-vinyl album.
In Skelattack, players take on the role of an skeleton called Skully and are tasked with stopping the humans from stealing treasures from their subterranean homes. Gameplay includes multi-phase boss fights.
The soundtrack, composed by Jamal Green (Equilinox), takes inspiration from the works of film and television composer Danny Elfman and puzzle-adventure games such as Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango.
This limited-edition release has been pressed on two 180g vinyl discs with only 500 copies available in two colourways: ‘white with grey splatter’ and standard black. The album features artwork by illustrator JJ Harrison.
The Skelattack 2xLP soundtrack will be available for purchase from the Mondo online store at 12:00 CT (18:00 BST) on 10th June and is expected to ship worldwide in July.
Skelattack is developed by Ukuza and published by Konami and available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
