35 tracks of music remastered for vinyl.
Music label Brave Wave Productions has announced that the definitive soundtrack to upcoming side-scrolling beat ’em up Streets of Rage 4 will be getting a release on vinyl.
The soundtrack comprises 35 tracks composed by an international roster of musicians. The game’s recently announced main composer Olivier Derivière (of 11-11 Memories Retold and GreedFall) joins series composers Yūzō Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima as they lead a team of a producers in scoring the soundtrack to the first Streets of Rage game in 26 years.
Guest composers include Harumi Fujita (of Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Final Fight), Keiji Yamagishi (of Ninja Gaiden and Tecmo Bowl), and Yoko Shimomura (of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior and Final Fight).
Other guest musicians include electronic music producer Groundislava, funk DJ XL Middleton, DJ-producer Scattle (of Hotline Miami and Furi), and electronic music producer Das Mörtal – each contributing a track each.
The Streets of Rage 4 soundtrack will be pressed on three 180g vinyl discs. The triple-vinyl album features an exclusive cover co-illustrated by artist and graphic designer Ariga Hitoshi and illustrator Ayano Koshiro (sister of Yūzō).
This definitive soundtrack also comes with a booklet of liner notes from every composer as well as members of the development team.
The Streets of Rage 4 3xLP soundtrack is scheduled for release this summer with further details on pricing and contents to be announced in the near future. A release on CD is also planned with more information to come.

Streets of Rage 4 is being co-developed by Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Lizardcube. The game will be published by Dotemu for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows with a release scheduled for spring.
