In the build-up to Data Discs’ fifth anniversary, the music label has announced that the soundtracks to the Streets of Rage side-scrolling beat ’em up trilogy are now remastered and available digitally.

The soundtracks to Streets of Rage, Streets of Rage 2 (both composed by Yuzo Koshiro), and Streets of Rage 3 (composed by Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima) are available for purchase and streaming from Bandcamp.

All three albums were sourced from original NEC PC-88 computer files that were captured and supplied by Koshiro and “a range of Japanese Mega Drive consoles”.

The soundtracks will also be available from other digital platforms at a later date.
