Standard and collector’s editions coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As part of PlayStation’s State of Play broadcast on Tuesday, a remake of the 1999 survival-horror game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was officially announced.
Simply titled Resident Evil 3, the game will be released on 3rd April, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. Console platforms will get a standard and collector’s edition of the game as well as a digital release, while the PC release will be available through Steam.
A surprising addition to Resident Evil 3 is the inclusion of online, asymmetrical multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance (previously known as Project Resistance).
Resident Evil: 3 – Collector’s Edition comes with a copy of the game; double-sided poster of a Raccoon City map; ‘Project: N&R’ art book containing 30 pages of photographs, documents, and reports; double-CD soundtrack that includes music from Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil Resistance, and remixes of original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis tracks; and an 11-inch Jill Valentine figure made from PVC, ABS, and steel. This special edition is housed in a S.T.A.R.S.-branded chest that resembles the familiar in-game item boxes from the Resident Evil series.
Pre-orders of Resident Evil 3 will include the ‘Jill & Carlos Classic Costume Pack’.
