Includes the 8-bit original soundtrack and a 16-bit arranged version.

Publisher First Press Games has announced that the soundtrack to side-scrolling action game A Hole New World will be available in a special double-CD release at the end of August.

Composed by Daniel Pellicer, the lead developer at indie studio Mad Gear Games, the soundtrack to A Hole New World contains 24 tracks – this 2-CD release comprises two variations of the soundtrack: the original 8-bit version on one disc and a 16-bit arranged version on the other, bringing the total number of tracks to 48.

The CD case features a spine card normally found in Japanese albums; this release also comes with a 12-page booklet.

Limited to 350 copies, the double-CD soundtrack to A Hole New World can be pre-ordered from the First Press Games website starting this week. Two rounds of pre-orders will be available to ensure customers in different time zones have a fair chance of securing an order:

  • 10pm CEST (9pm BST) Thursday, 18th July
  • 10am CEST (9am BST) Saturday, 20th July

The soundtrack is expected to ship by the end of August.

This double-CD release is also included in the Collector’s Edition of A Hole New World for Nintendo Switch (which also comes with the game, a 48-page manual, reversible EU/US box cover, premium box with item tray, numbered coin, double-sided A2 poster, and a clearfile containing a surprise insert).

A Hole New World is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
