Double-vinyl edition limited to 500 copies.
Wayô Records has announced that pre-orders for the Samurai Shodown soundtrack are available to pre-order now from its website.
The Samurai Shodown weapons-based fighting games go back to the ’90s and the latest instalment in the long-running series just got released for arcade machines as well as home consoles.
Composed and arranged by the SNK Sound Team, the original soundtrack is available in a couple of formats.
The CD edition of the Samurai Shodown soundtrack is spread across two discs and comprises 44 tracks. This release comes with an English booklet containing composer comments.

The first 150 orders will receive a mini-shikishi signed by character designer Yumi Saji and lead composer Hiroshi Yamasoe.
The vinyl edition has been pressed on marble red vinyl with only 500 copies available.
This limited double-vinyl release contains 19 tracks on two 180g vinyl discs housed in a gatefold jacket. As with the CD edition, the first 150 orders will come with a shikishi signed by Saji and Yamasoe.
Both CD and vinyl editions are expected to ship this September.
Samurai Shodown is currently available for arcade machines, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch and PC release is planned for Q4 2019 and later, respectively.
